- What’s your name, where are you from and how long have you been a member of the TS?
My name is Pranab Misra, I am from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, in India and have been a member of Utkal Theosophical Federation since the latter part of 2018.
- Are you active in your Lodge/Section and if so, what do you do?
I take part in sessions and have also taken classes on theosophy among the younger generation in universities.
- How did you first learn about Theosophy or come in contact with the Society?
My own grandfather and other relatives were well-known practitioners of theosophy in Odisha. Through them, I have been drawn towards theosophy and am currently a member of Utkal Theosophical Federation.
- What does Theosophy mean to you?
Theosophy allows me to be active in a spiritual organization meant for highly realized minds striving towards discovering the unknown.
- What is your favorite Theosophical book and why?
As a beginner and a learner, I have enjoyed The Seven Principles of Man by Annie Besant, describing the seven aspects of man's nature based on theosophical precepts.
- What in your opinion is the biggest challenge the TS is facing at the moment?
We need to make the younger generation more aware of the importance and relevance of theosophy. This can be done by visiting universities and speaking to students who are the future of the world.
- Is there anything you would wish for the future of the Theosophical Movement?
I would love to participate in propagation of theosophy worldwide.
