- What’s your name, where are you from and how long have you been a member of the TS?
My name is CHANDRAKANT ANKUSH SHINDE, I am from India, Maharashtra state — Member of the T.S. since 1975.
- Are you active in your Lodge/Section and if so, what do you do?
I have worked in Lodge, section, Federation since 2006. Working as Chief Librarian in Adyar Library and Research Centre and traveling as National & International Speaker.
- How did you first learn about Theosophy or come in contact with the Society?
A Text Book of Theosophy made me to think more about invisible world which we have ignored in science.
- What does Theosophy mean to you?
It is to study, contemplate and do selfless service. Physically we must be sensitive and active. Emotionally we must be selfless Intellectually more careful and attentive.
- What is your favorite Theosophical book and why?
The World Around Us, Watch Tower notes of Radhaji (i.e. Radha Burnier) which I have compiled and At the Feet of the Master, Light on the Path, The Voice of the Silence, The Book of Life.
- What in your opinion is the biggest challenge the TS is facing at the moment?
Theosophical Attitude, Conditioned mind, and Ignorance of Reality, The Spirit of Theosophy.
- Is there anything you would wish for the future of the Theosophical Movement?
Mutual co-operation, sharing and caring and to work together brotherly, affectionately without competitive spirit but with Theosophical Spirit of Oneness of Life.
