Joma Sipe, a fine artist
Like always I am more than happy to inform readers of Theosophy Forward about what I have been doing recently.
Mentioned in my previous contribution to Theosophy Forward that I was working on a new mandala series, following the Sri Yantra Series with a symbol representing a Merkaba. This time I am using silver based ink pens and white crystals, each with a different and special design around the main symbol.
As the meaning of Merkaba is “The Chariot of God” I have found in Blavatsky´s writings the mention of another “part” of this Chariot that needs to be made first. She refers to Them as OPHANIM, the “Wheels” of “The God´s Chariot”, so this is the name of this series that will be then followed by the Merkaba. You will find the reference to these Beings in the 1892 edition of the Theosophical Glossary
Unfortunately I cannot share the design now because it is going to be unveiled during my next November exhibition in the city of Porto, Portugal, to which you are all invited. Details will follow shortly!
I have to mention also my contribution, with my work “Message VI”, to the cover of March number of The Theosophist, which I reproduce here with the other images. For me it is a great honor to be part of the cover of the magazine founded by H.P.B. herself in 1879.
