Theosophy is that ocean of knowledge which spreads from shore to shore of the evolution of sentient beings; unfathomable in its deepest parts, it gives the greatest minds their fullest scope, yet, shallow enough at its shores, it will not overwhelm the understanding of a child.
Ocean Of Theosophy, ch1, W. Q. Judge
Children are natural learners, they want to know about everything, they are inquisitive, bubbling with questions; they are full of Wonder, imagination, they ask why as well as what. William Blake in his Auguries of Innocence, seemed to be speaking about children
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour
David says:
As a professional photographer I have had the pleasure of documenting the education of children in schools, libraries, community centers for various public and private institutions. Children love to learn.. This is partly due to their lack of fear, their willingness to go wherever the clues lead. Often their quest is unfortunately blocked by adults telling them, “that is silly, unrealistic, only in your imagination.”
I have observed that the best teachers of children know how to inspire and guide them when needed but also know when to get out of the way.
