1. What's your name, where are you from and how long have you been a member of the TS?
My name is Patrizia Moschin Calvi and I am in the TS since 1982.
2. How long have you been a member of your Section's Board?
I have been a member of the Executive Committee of the Italian Section since 2007.`
3. How did you first learn about Theosophy or come in contact with the Society?
In 1982 I had the chance to meet a member of the T.S. Italy who invited me to participate in a theosophical meeting. From then on, I felt to be at home, in the theosophical group.
4. What does Theosophy mean to you?
To me it is now as it was the first time I heard about it: hope and meaning in a life otherwise futile, hope and meaning for all human beings, good news to be joyfully announced all over the world.
5. This year, 2025, the Theosophical Society celebrates its 150th anniversary. What in your opinion is the biggest challenge the TS is facing and what is to be done in order to maintain the Society's relevance in the years to come?
Ancient Wisdom has no "secrets" but to be learnt and understood it needs dedication, love and the wish to go deep inside ourselves. This is a real challenge in modern times. But if we theosophists will be able to make Theosophy more and more interesting, thought-provoking, motivating for people at large it will be a fantastic opportunity to build a better and more spiritual world.
